About

After decades of playing guitar in bands and backing others vocally, Steve stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight—in his late 50’s . A lifelong musician, originally from New York’s southern tier who always avoided the mic, he finally found his voice, quite literally, during a band rehearsal when his mates gave him the nudge to sing lead. That moment cracked open a door he never thought he’d walk through: performing solo as a singer-songwriter. It took a brain surgery, a creekside gazebo, and the blind faith of old friends to get him there—but when the moment came, he answered with guitar in hand and heart wide open.

Steve’s music is rooted in connection—nostalgic, honest, and full of stories that feel familiar even if they’re not yours. With a warm acoustic/electric style and a deep reverence for the songs that shaped him, he delivers sets that blend classic covers with lived-in perspective. Whether it’s a quiet park bench, a neighborhood porchfest, or an intimate event, his performances aren’t about polish or flash—they’re about sincerity, resilience, and a love of music that’s stood the test of time.

Today, Steve plays solo acoustic gigs across Western New York, sharing not just songs but the journey behind them—one of friendship, faith, and finally learning to trust his own voice. If his story reminds you that it’s never too late to try something new, then he's doing more than playing music—he's paying it forward.
